Dynamo School of Gymnastics Junior Women’s Team, based at Hamble Community Sports College, travelled to Stoke for the Bill Slater Junior Team Championships, along with their coaches Kerri Upton and Emma Beales.
With 30 teams competing from across the country, the Dynamo girls competed on Day 1 of the championships.
The Dynamo team consisted of Jessica Wells, Ellen Martin, Olivia Essex, Ella Beattie-Edwards, Isabelle Prinsep and Amelie Priestman. Starting their competition on Vault, the girls secured a fantastic team total after completing 4 Tsukahara Vaults cleanly.
Onto Bars, the team counted a couple of unfortunate falls but continued the competition with great team spirit.
The team put out some fantastic performances on beam, which can be the most nerve wracking of apparatus. The girls put out new skills and performed strongly for the team.
Onto Floor, the team finished with a solid performance, rounding of the days competition with a team total of 162.00.
A fantastic team performance from the girls, finishing in 27th position.
Congratulations to the Team who will now continue there competition season with competitions over the next couple of months.
