This coming weekend, Team Dynamo will travel to Loughborough University where the 2015 English Championships will be held.
With 9 girls competing across all the age categories, this is Dynamo’s biggest entry for many years. Dynamo also have representation in the Boys competition with 11 year old, Lyle Harry.
Competition begins on Friday 13th March, with the Espoir Girls and Boys competition. In this age group, 13 year old Olivia Essex, 12 year olds, Leah Mitchell, Tayah Askham, and Ella Beattie-Edwards will compete along with 11 year old Sydney Letchford.
11 year old Lyle Harry will also be competing in the Boys category on Friday.
Saturday will see the main event of the weekend with the Senior competition.
15 year old, Danielle Barnes will compete for the first time as Senior alongside Dynamo’s renowned Senior gymnast, Kelly Simm. Kelly begins her competition season at the English with a big year ahead. With selection for the European Championships up for grabs, the English is an important trial event.
Sunday will be the turn of the Junior girls with 13 year old Amy Layzell and 15 year old Casey Spry.
After putting in months of hard work to prepare, the gymnasts are ready to enjoy the big event and put out new skills.
Coaches, Keith & Debbie Richardson, Kerri Upton, Emma Beales and Nathan Kitcher will be there to support the gymnasts for the weekends events in Loughborough. |
